MYRA LENE DEES
Funeral services for Pleasant View resident Myra Lene' Dees will be held at 2 p.m. on Tuesday, February 16 at Rock Springs Community Church. Interment will follow at Summit Ridge Cemetery. Pastor David Ramsey will officiate.
Visitation has been scheduled for Monday evening from 6 to 8 p.m. at Rock Springs.
Myra was born on November 19, 1962 in Hobbs, N.M., the daughter of Patricia A. Nuttall. She went home to be with her Lord on Wednesday, February 10, 2010 at the age of 47.
Myra married Tadd H. Dees in Odessa, TX on December 8, 1990. She was a loving wife to Tadd and a devoted mother to John and Rachel. She was also a member of the Rock Springs Community Church. For the past 14 years, Myra built her career as a Mary Kay Cosmetic Sales Director. This allowed her to create a working schedule in order to put her family�s needs first. She was an active member of the Battlerock 4H group. She was also a member of the Montezuma Homeschooler�s Association, and she home schooled John and Rachel. Myra enjoyed playing the piano, being outdoors, riding horses, fishing and watching sunsets. Myra�s family filled her life with joy and she took great pleasure watching her children participate in various activities such as 4H projects, baseball and archery.
Surviving Myra are her husband of 19 years, Tadd Dees of Pleasant View; her children, John and Rachel Dees of Pleasant View, Colo.; her mother, Patricia Nuttall and her brother, John Currie, both of Seminole, TX.; two aunts, Miralene Haight of Carr, CO and Cammillia Hensley of Lovington, NM.
